How Rowan is still making a difference We have had to find new ways of continuing to deliver much needed support to our students, their families/carers, and our volunteers/support workers as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. Now we have opened a few of our studios it is great to have students back in the building. We are only open on certain days with a limited number of people. Rowan Open Studios  As part of Cambridge Open Studios this year, Rowan will be taking the opportunity to showcase not only its new studio work, but also to display its completed River Cam project, funded by the Heritage Lottery. River Stories at Rowan

River Stories at Rowan Saturday 8 April 2017, 11am until 4pm Tile workshop: 11.30am – 1pm and 2pm – 3.30pm. Clay models: 11am – 4pm. As part of the Crafts Council’s Hey Clay! and BBC Get Creative initiative, we are running river inspired activities on Saturday 8 April 2017 at Rowan. Come along and make and decorate a tile based on a story about the heritage of the River Cam. As part of our wider Heritage Lottery funded project we will be using some clay from the river to decorate the tile and maybe exhibited at Rowan and the Museum of Cambridge

Rowan’s AGM Wednesday 1 March, 2pm 2016 was an exceptional year for Rowan with many exciting changes including the major renovation of our building. We would like to invite you to view our new interior including Rowan’s new community space and textiles studio and to join us to hear the review of our Annual Report and Accounts. Our project will focus on the heritage of the River Cam in Cambridge.
