Your art could make a difference to people’s lives!
Calling all artists! Here’s your chance to get creative and support your local charity. Rowan is holding an exhibition to raise funds for adults with learning disabilities. The exhibition, next February, gives artists the chance to make a real difference, either by producing artwork for sale or through buying art at the exhibition.
This event is open to any artist – novice, amateur and professional alike. And Rowan hopes to see Cambridge from many artistic perspectives – whether it’s the bridges, the buildings, the landscapes, a walk to work, your back garden… the possibilities are endless!
How to get involved!
To get creative – and help our student artists – costs just £10. This covers a 16” x 12” canvas and the cost of hanging. Of course, you could also come along to the event (which runs on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 February 2019 at Long Road Sixth Form College) and invest in some unique art too!
- Artists need not restrict themselves to two-dimensional work as long as the artwork fits within the 16” x 12” dimensions and can be easily stored and displayed.
- Maximum of three entries per person.
- All artworks will be exhibited anonymously and be available for sale for £45.
Canvases can be obtained from Rowan, 40 Humberstone Road, Cambridge, CB4 1JG on Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for further information or if you would like to collect a canvas at another time.
Completed canvases must be with Rowan by 1 February 2019 at the same address and during the same 9am-4pm window.
