Flowers and leaves in stitch

Flowers and leaves in stitch

… is an exhibition of textile art created at Rowan now on display at Addenbrookes Hospital.

Alongside their textiles tutor, Hilary Sugai, some of our student artists have been busy creating these beautiful examples of stitching, beading, plaiting, batik and fabric painting. Using materials that have been kindly donated by our supporters, our student artists have chosen fabrics, beads, threads, paints, dyes and created their own designs inspired by the natural world.
