FREE Ceramic Workshops

Rowan invites you to get involved in our FREE ceramic workshops taking place in May! These workshops are part of our exciting project Connecting Communities funded by the Cambridge Community Foundation on behalf of Highways England.

Under the guidance of our ceramics tutor Sarah Nibbs and with the support of the Rowan team our student artists have embarked on making two ambitious ceramic art installations using recycled materials sourced from the A14 development. The plan is to install these at Hinchingbrooke Country Park and Milton Country Park which are situated at either end of the A14 development.

People from communities at each end of the A14 development are invited to help make a two metre long ceramic dragonfly that will nestle along the waters edge at each park from the end of July 2018.

Rowan is running workshops to make sections of the dragonflies. Dragonflies can be found at both country parks but there are some that cannot yet be found at either.

When will our workshops take place?
