Rowan’s COVID-19 Crisis Appeal
For over 36 years Rowan has provided a safe, creative and welcoming environment where the arts are used as a tool to bring people together, tackle social exclusion whilst improving happiness, health and wellbeing for adults with learning disabilities. Due to the current COVID-19 crisis we have had to stop running our ‘normal’ activities and find new ways of continuing to deliver much needed support to our students, their families / carers, and our volunteers during this period of lockdown. Find out more on how we continue to make a difference here.
How can you help?
You can help us survive this crisis by:
- Donating to our Rowan Crisis Appeal.
- Start your own fundraiser for Rowan just like Rosalind, our Chair of Trustees, with her JoGLE Challenge! Why not get sponsors for a run, complete your own bake off, create a home challenge and raise vital funds for us?
- Set-up a fundraising page via our LocalGiving page here or contact Hetti for support on email@example.com. Don’t forget to share your “feel good” stories with us.
Gift Aid – boost your donation by 25p for every £1 you donate:
If you are a UK tax payer, you can increase the value of your gift to Rowan, and at no extra cost to you. Consent to Gift Aid and we will be able to reclaim the tax already paid on your donation. Please complete the form and return to Rowan. If you setup through Local Giving you can easily add on gift aid with a click of a button. If you are giving a cash or cheque donation please download and complete the Rowan Gift Aid declaration form.
The collaboration between skilled art and craft tutors and student artists is key to the creation of high quality artwork at Rowan. We utilise a wide range of techniques and mediums including clay, paper, textiles and wood in our well-equipped studio workshops. We are always delighted to take on a commission for both public and private art. We also produce artwork for sale at our pop-up shops and open evenings throughout the year.
