Walk for Rowan / Moving On 2018

Student artists from Rowan are working together to raise vital funds for the charity. Taking place on Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13thand Thursday 14thJune from 10:30am to 12pm from Midsummer Common to Jesus Green.

Operations Manager Des Trollip explains: ‘Money raised at this event will go towards the daily running of Rowan to help continue the work we do in the local community. After our successful refurbishment in 2016 our main focus now is ensuring we continue to run at an affordable cost to our student artists and for potential new students.’

Student artists at Rowan have wasted no time with drumming up support and Elizabeth is really looking forward to the fundraiser: ‘I have asked all my friends and family for support. I love coming to Rowan to learn. I like meeting my friends and making new things’. Elizabeth is involved in ceramics and textiles and has been known to knit anything from a snowman to a patchwork quilt.
