Cambridge University Press visit Rowan!

Cambridge University Press visit Rowan!

In May Rowan welcomed staff from Cambridge University Press (CUP) to visit for the morning. Including a tour of Rowan, time spent with our student artists, staff and volunteers plus getting creative in our studios. Rowan is lucky enough to be Charity of the Year for CUP until April 2019 and we have had many events taking place with their support. Thank you all for coming!

We have had fantastic feedback from the CUP staff and we hope to plan another visit soon.

“Everyone was so welcoming, kind and attentive. I look forward to getting more involved with them in the future and helping out where possible!”

“It’s clearly a great organisation that is giving so much to the students they work with. Their premises have such an atmosphere of warmth and kindness that even I felt I’d benefited from spending a mere couple of hours there.”

“It was really lovely to get to know the charity, have the opportunity to chat with some of the students and teachers, coat a ceramic vase, and finish a bee leg to be on display at the Mind charity window display this June.”

“The visit was really worthwhile. It was so interesting to see what they do and how impressive their work is.”
